I like knowing how to cook the recipes of all cultures and countries, I always understood that places like England or U.S They do not have their own kitchen and very few recipes, but inquiring always comes with interesting things. From the South American cuisine there are several dishes that are remarkable, including macaroni and cheese (mac & cheese) and this recipe is for pink and the people of Community, let's see what you think (I have another slightly lighter variant that is with milk, eggs and cheedar cheese, another day I give it to you)
Recipe for 4 people
- 300 gr of small macaroni (I use the fideua).
For the cheese bechamel sauce
- 50 gr of butter.
- 50 gr of flour.
- 600 ml milk.
- Salt to taste.
- Nutmeg to taste.
- 150 gr of cheese mix.
- 60 gr grated cheese to melt (also worth Parmesan).
- Bread crumbs.
1.- First we preheat the oven to 180 º and then we begin with the preparation of the ingredients.
2.- We put 700 ml in the glass. of water 6 minutes varoma speed spoon. Once finished, add the pasta and let it cook 3 minutes less than the container indicates (remember to turn left). Finished strain the pasta and pass it to a refractory oven container.
3.- We make the cheese béchamel sauce. Put the oil, butter and program 3 minutes, Varoma, speed 3-1 / 2.Add the flour and sauté2 minute, 100º, speed 2-1 / 2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix10 seconds in speed 6, and program 6 minutes, Varoma, speed 4. Once finished you put the cheese mix and leave another minute without temperature (what we want to achieve is a light cheese béchamel). Put this bechamel on top of the pasta.
4.- Last step, sprinkle the grated cheese, and on top of the breadcrumbs and some sheets of butter (I use the potato peeler for this).
5.- We put it 12 minutes in the oven, and then gratin it 2 minutes or until the crust is toasted.
